Nina Lund

Nina partners with Spexsearch on human resources consultative services including Leadership Development, Coaching and Development, Organizational Development, Recruitment and Selection, Onboarding, Employee/Labor Relations,  Leadership Training Facilitation, and Succession Management.



In addition to her work with Spexsearch, Nina Lund is the owner/founder of Next Generation HR, a full-service Human Resources company offering services to employers with operations across the United States.  Nina has over 30 years of HR expertise operating at executive levels for multi-billion-dollar organizations nationally and internationally.


Nina provides a tailored approach to every one of her client engagements and does not believe in a one-size fits all approach.  Her background includes working with organizations in a multitude of industries including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Heavy Construction, Environmental Remediation, Environmental Testing, Mining, Railroad, Shipyards, Heavy Equipment Sales, and Aviation.


In 2018, Nina decided to leave “corporate America” and start her own business.  She has enjoyed collaborating with clients in various industries, geography, and size.


Nina offers coaching and development for executives, supervisors/managers, individual contributors, high-potentials.  Additionally, she has developed Success Profiles (competencies) for these levels within organizations.  She is highly skilled at Succession Management processes and framework, talent pipeline identification, and Talent roundtables.


Nina’s style is one of collaboration, inclusivity, practicality, high level of communication, perspective and humor.  She is very congenial with an open mind to reach the best talent solution possible.


Nina is a certified facilitator of several programs, including the most popular Personify Leadership program.  This two-day leadership workshop is applicable to all levels and is impactful with a blend of learning techniques including:  experiential, classroom lecture, reflection and on-the-job exercises for 8 core leadership competencies.  She is also certified in several 360 evaluation tools including:  Korn-Ferry Voices, Talenttelligent All-Access Certification (developed by leadership greats:  Robert W. Eichinger, Roger Pearman and builds on the work of Michael M. Lombardo (Lominger).  Nina holds a bachelor’s in science in Human Resources form the University of Wyoming.


Nina resides in Montana with her husband of 34 years and has an only child daughter and two amazing dogs.  She greatly enjoys summers most when she can hike, boat, kayak, camp, bbq and enjoy all of the seasonal festivals and farmer’s markets.  In the winters, she generally spends her free-time reading or binge watching true crime series.
